Every year June 5th is celebrated as ‘World Environment Day’. On this 5th June 2021 let’s spread awareness among people to conserve the environment for a healthy and better future. The United Nations created this day in 1974 to create awareness regarding the need to protect our environment.
This is our moment. We can grow trees, make our cities green, and clean up rivers and coasts. We are the generation that can make peace with the nature. Let us get active.
We at the Padmashri Manibhai Desai College have vowed to make our campus Environment Friendly. We are growing trees, conserving water, harvesting rainwater, growing medicinal plants in Botanical Garden.
The Vice-President of Mahatma Gandhi Sarvodaya Sangh Prof. K. D. Kanchan is taking every effort to make the campus green.
Let us make this World Environment Day memorable by coming together to make our planet a cleaner and greener home for everyone.
